WGC-Mexico Runner Up

Tommy thrived last week in the new surroundings of Chapultepec for the WGC Mexico Championship. Against a world class field of opponents he kept pace with the eventual winner, Dustin Johnson, narrowly missing out by only one shot, finishing on -13 to DJ’s -14. With drama all the way to the 18th on the final round, Tommy dropped a superb 38-foot putt for birdie after having excruciatingly watched as his eagle attempt on the 11th performed a 360 degree lip out. The WGC Mexico 2017 is just Tommy’s sixth appearance in a WGC event and with Augusta coming close his 35th OWGR position puts him in a excellent spot for an invite!! Exciting times!!
